SudoDuel Privacy Policy
1. Overview
SudoDuel is a Sudoku game with solo play, daily challenges, social features, and competitive modes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us with privacy questions.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect and store your account email, username, display name, profile and avatar settings, gameplay data, puzzle sessions, scores, challenge records, stats, leaderboard and ranking data, friend relationships, and push notification tokens. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we also receive the basic account information those providers share with us, such as your email address and name details made available for sign-in.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the app, save progress, support social and competitive play, maintain leaderboards and rankings, protect result integrity, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.
4. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, we store device push token information so we can deliver friend requests, challenge updates, and other gameplay-related notifications to your devices.
5. Support and Error Reports
When you send support messages or account deletion help requests, we store the content you submit. We may also store app version, platform, and runtime error details to investigate crashes or broken flows. We do not intentionally include passwords, auth tokens, advertising identifiers, or full puzzle boards in these reports.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising. We may share information with service providers only as needed to host and operate SudoDuel, deliver notifications, and support the app.
7. Data Retention
We retain account, gameplay, and challenge data for as long as needed to operate SudoDuel, maintain social and competitive history, and investigate abuse or support issues. Some match records may be retained in a minimal form to preserve integrity for other players.
8. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
You can delete your account from within the app. That process removes or anonymises public profile details, active social links, push tokens, and account-linked settings. Some completed duel or result history may be retained in minimal anonymised form so other players do not lose legitimate match records. If you need help first, email sudoduel@gmail.com.
9. Children
SudoDuel is not directed at children under the age required by local law to use online services without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SudoDuel evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, update the app's privacy information as well.
